Monica Martin was crowned the winner in the contest held at Allonsfield House care home, part of Kingsley Healthcare, in Campsea Ashe near Woodbridge. Judging the competition was head of PR from Kingsley Healthcare Stephen Pullinger and Allonsfield House chef Joe Rouvray.

Residents and staff went in to a baking battle against each other with an assortment of flavours to tickle the taste buds including peanut butter, strawberry and cappuccino topped with salted caramel - which became the winning ensemble.

Runner up in the cupcake challenge was the care home manager, Alex Powell, who entered the contest with a delicious combination of banana and chocolate.
