Youngsters are being offered the chance to take part in new dance sessions being held in Woodbridge Library.

Those aged 11- 25 are being invited to join in with the series of session being put on during November and December.

The dance workshops will be free of charge and are being hosted by experienced dance artist Lynnette King.

Workshops will be held on the following dates:

November 14, 28

December 12,19

The sessions are open to youngsters of all abilities with refreshments provided.

Melissa Matthews, Suffolk Libraries arts programmes coordinator, said: “We are incredibly excited to have Lynnette King running sessions as part of the BLOC creative programme in Woodbridge. This project is in response to the demands of the young people living in Woodbridge through conversations we had in the summer of this year.

“Not only is dancing is a wonderful tool for helping to reduce stress and anxiety, but it also helps us feel more connected with others and it is scientifically proven to improve our mood and mental health.”

To get involved in the sessions simply sign up online.
