The Jetty Lane project in Woodbridge, has been given a financial boost thanks to a local production.

The Company of Four presented a cheque for £1203.64 to Cordelia Richman and Amy Mallet from the Jetty Lane Project at the Kings Head pub in Woodbridge.

The funds were raised during the Company Of Four's recent production of Beauty and the Beast and will help with the fundraising for the Jetty Lane's new community centre.

The centre was recently given planning permission by the-then Suffolk Coastal District Council.

A spokesman for Company of Four said: "The landmark facility for young people, budding artists and a range of community groups in Woodbridge will be modern, vibrant, inclusive and welcoming to all those in the community.

"We would like to wish them every success with the completion of this innovative project."
