Farlingaye High School will put on a production of Oliver this summer, as more than 130 students take to the stage for a classic performance of the little boy lost that everyone loves.

Musical Theatre International, a leading theatrical licensing agency particularly supportive of educational theatre, will be supplying official scripts and musical material for the show.

Helene Shaw, publications assistant for the school, said: "There is tremendous excitement across years seven to nine at Farlingaye High School, as they prepare for this year's Lower School Production of Oliver! Rehearsals are in full swing and they are sounding great."

Performances will be on Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9 at 7pm and on Wednesday, July 10 at 4.15pm and then again at 7.30pm.

There is also a dress rehearsal for the local primary schools during the day on Monday, July 1.
