Pupils at Farlingaye High School have been working to build essential life skills while taking part in an out-of-this-world mission.
Year 8 students were given the task of establishing a new society on the moon through sessions lead by the Skills Builder Partnership.
Using problem solving and teamwork skills the pupils became managers for the new world.
The students were then asked to produce a model of their new world before pitching it to others.
One student said: “The two skills we feel we have developed the most today are leadership and teamwork. We worked best when one person took the lead to guide our team so we all knew what we needed to do.”
Mrs Laird, assistant headteacher and careers lead, said: “It’s been lovely to see how students worked as teams. “They recognised their strengths and contributed them to support their teammates and complete the tasks.”
