Pupils from Farlingaye High School are set to take to the stage next month for a production of “Fiddler on the Roof”.

The production tells the story of a father having to come to terms with change and his daughters making choices he does not agree with, against a backdrop of the Russian Revolution and violence towards Jews.

A spokesman for the school said: “There is a committed cast of students, with a fantastic all-student orchestra, who recently performed at Snape Maltings to huge acclaim.”

Students from the school will also be providing all the back-stage and technical support needed for the show.

The performances will be held at the Seckford Theatre, Woodbridge School and are open for the public to attend.

The shows will run from Monday, April 1 to Thursday, April 4, at 7pm.

Tickets can be bought online.
