A weekend of fundraising events have been announced for the The Spirit of Beowulf Festival.
The festival, which celebrates the riverside town's links with the legend, was postponed due to unforseen funding issues earlier this year.
It is now expected to take place in 2020 with organisers hoping to raise money through a weekend of fundraising.
The events will take place across the May Bank Holiday weekend from May 3 - 6.
Friday will see a talk about the origins of Beowulf being hosted at the town's Shire Hall by Dr Sam Newton.
This will be followed on the Saturday with events along the banks of the River Deben at Whisstocks Place, Tide Mill Quay, the Longshed and Woodbridge Museum.
To finish the weekend a special walk will be held at sunrise around the burial mounds of Sutton Hoo.
