A Woodbridge garden centre is planning to re-open a woodland walk on its site later this year.

Notcutts says it has plans in place to bring about the return of the woodland walk located towards the back of the garden centre.

The company currently have an application for tree works with Suffolk Coastal District Council to have a sycamore tree removed to provide access for the new trail.

The work would include removal of a tree stump.

Darren Brooks, General Manager at Notcutts Woodbridge Garden Centre said: “We have exciting plans underway to enhance the experience for customers visiting Notcutts Woodbridge.

“Our plans include restoration of a former woodland walk towards the back of the garden centre, which will feature wooden animal sculptures and bird boxes as well as lots of wildlife friendly plants.

“The woodland walk is expected to open later this year and we look forward to welcoming our visitors to enjoy our local wildlife and get closer to nature.”
