Desperately seeking venue - Woodbridge dancers search for a new hall to tap away their troubles

A Woodbridge-based tap dance class is desperately seeking new premises as their current location is due to close for redevelopment.
The classes, tutored by Jill Streatfeild, are currently being taught in St John's Church Hall but due to the refurbishment closure from the end of June, the dance sessions need to find another home.
Ufford have kindly offered their village hall for use but Jill already teaches two classes there a week and would like her students based in Woodbridge to continue locally.
She said: "We are determined to keep the group together, but it is proving very difficult to find another suitable venue in Woodbridge that is available every Thursday morning.
"I have had offers from halls outside Woodbridge, but would really prefer to keep the facility in the town."
Ms Streatfeild said that any nearby cafe or pub would get a boost too, as the group always have a coffee and chat after the class.
Anyone who knows of a large room, ideally with a wooden floor (not carpeted or highly polished) that would be suitable for tapping on, should get in touch with Jill on 07778 746315 or via her website.
The space would be needed for two hours every Thursday, from 9.30 to 11.30 am.
