Santa Claus is coming to town!

The dates and times for the popular sleigh runs, organised by Woodbridge and District Lions, have been announced.

The Lions will be hosting the annual event on Wednesday December 18 and Thursday December 19.

Their route around Woodbridge will be as follows

Wednesday December 19 - Starting at 6pm

Warwick Ave -> Edwin Avenue -> Barton Road -> Collingwood Road -> back to Barton Road -> Beresford Dive -> Bredfield Road -> Bury Hill-> Finish around 7.30/8.00pm

Thursday December 20 - Starting at 6pm

Newham Avenue -> Old Barrack Road -> Peterhouse Crescent -> Pembroke Avenue -> Queens Avenue -> Church Close -> Claire Avenue -> Old Barrack Road -> Finish around 7.30/8.00pm

A spokesman for the Lions said: “Look out for us and bring out the children and grandchildren to come and see Santa Claus and capture some memories with a few photos.”

As well as hosting the sleigh run the group will also be providing food parcels to those who use the food bank.

The spokesman added: “Once again this year we are working in conjunction with the Salvation Army in Woodbridge to provide Christmas food parcels and gifts to users of their food bank scheme.”
