Woodbridge singers will be travelling around the globe this month as they raise money for WaterAid.

Come on a journey of song with a choir of Woodbridge singers created specially for this concert.

Joining them will be guests Scunsulata from Norfolk.

Choirmaster Chris Rowbury has taken 50 local singers on a Singing Safari. They have been gathering songs from across the globe and are now ready to share them.

Mr Rowbury said: “The performance will draw on musical traditions from around the world. Thrill to rhythmic songs from Africa and uplifting gospel from the US. Sink into sumptuous harmonies from Eastern Europe. Swoon to the sweet exotic sounds of the Pacific.

“This promises to be an evening of singing to stir the soul and warm the heart.”

The concert will take place at St. Mary’s Church, Market Hill, Woodbridge on Saturday 23 March at 7.30pm.

Tickets are now on sale: £8 (£3 under 16s).

Some tickets may be available on the door. There will be a retiring collection for the charity WaterAid (improving access to safe water and sanitation).

More information about the show and tickets can be found online or by phoning Chris on 01394 610 486
